WALES SOMALILAND COMMUNITY PRAISED CARDIFF MP RT. HON. ALUN M I CHEAL ON TAKING THE LEAD TO RE-LAUNCH SOMALILAND ALL PA RTY O F BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY GROUP AT THE UK HO USES OF PARLAIMENT

Cardiff,Wales July 16 2010 (TNN)- Cardiff, Wales, Friday,16th July, 2010, Wales Somaliland  Commu nity, h as today welcomed and praised Rt. Hon. Alun Michael, MP for Cardiff South & Penarth for  taking the lead in re-launching Somaliland All Party of British Parliamentarian Groups of both Houses of UK Parliament  wi th membership of over 28 MPs and lords signing up at its first meeting.

Mr. Abdirahman Ahmed Awad, Wales Somaliland Community’s Chairman and Mr. Abdikarim Abdi  Adan, Di rector of Somaliland Community said: “On behalf of the whole community, we express our deep  appreci ation and gratitude and we take this opportunity to thank Cardiff South & Penarth MP, Rt. Hon. Alun  Mic hael, MP and all the MPs and Lords, who join up together to re-establish and launch  S OMALILAND ALL PARTY BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY GROUP AT HOUSES OF PARLAIMENT”.

This is great news from the UK Houses of Parliaments and is an added bonus to Somaliland, following last week’s statement from the British Prime Minister, who pledged to maintain UK engagement with  Somalila nd during the PM Question Time, Wednesday,7th July 2010”,

The Wales Somaliland , “We will continue to work to be a bridge and an advocated in developing an  effe ctive and long lasting mutual partnership between our two countries institutions both  Parliame nts and Governments and our people. Our Somaliland community, in Wales will continue to play a crucial role as Ambassadors for the UK and Somaliland.”

Finally, Wales Somaliland Community, look forward to continue building on the excellent relationships  alre ady established with Somaliland Government, Somaliland Houses of Representatives/House of Elders and to furthering the co-operation with UK Government and UK Parliament for the mutual  be nefits of both our two nations.

We call on Somaliland Community in the UK to lobby their MP’s and Lords to join the Somaliland All  P arty of British Parliamentarian Groups of both Houses of UK Parliament, whom we, all appreciate  their support and efforts on behalf of Somaliland.
