Only, in "Goos," we succeed

("Goos" is a Somali ward. It is used in the Farming Western Regions of Somaliland. It means: A collective communal endeavor to help their own in their village-in Farming, tilting the soil, and harvesting for those who don't have oxen to p lough the farm. One family at a time ) This virtue is now gone down the sun, but we can revive it and renew it for all our Somaliland communities so that they can help each other.

The new government needs "Goos", so that they can deliver and reach the finish line. The government is the needy guy to be "Goosed"for. to be helped, in the collective sense provided they repent for the betrayal committed by the head of the government against his Base,(s) his loyal supporters who trusted him, and against his own party! [this government is with out party if not Qaran!! if and when Qaran is legally registered as an official political party!
Only in "Goos" could we do it. could we help the new government provided they do their part!

We have to safeguard our stock in government,because each one of us is a stock holder in the government of Somaliland. Safeguarding our shares in the big stock includes to call the government accountable to her :
a) actions or b) in actions or c)reactions. There are two sides in this, the people's side and the government's side. It is a collective endeavor.That is why we call it a "Goos"
On the government's side priority number one ought to be 1) Security 2) water 3) immigration and border control. The government blundered in the security area lately, and their reaction was even worse!.

The prophet of Allah (scws) when praying for the believers said, " Yaa Allah, bilamni wal eemaan" he put Amni before eemaan! Security before believe! That is how security is serious, more so in our country where there are so many enemies around! internal and external!

Enduring the criticism of others is strength on the part of the government. It may be also a part of doing good to those who criticize. It cuts both ways, when patience and maturity is shown. As a great Sufi (Maaruf of karkh) once said of a sick man whom the Sufi was helping. The sick man cursed the Sufi! The Sufi's wife asked her husband why he continued to serve some one who was so ungrateful?! The Sufi answered that this (his) patience was part of the help for the sick! The patient the Sufi has observed had been allowed to vent his wrath to find rest!
Here no body is sick, however the government must be patient for the wrath coming from many sides legitimate or otherwise.
Here again no body is sick but it is part and parcel of the process of democracy. I moreover wish it could be more balanced,more educated, more informative, more honest and more useful.

In this when the critics show their spleen or their bias instead of constructive and positive view from either side-government or opposition one my say, " it is evilly"
The evil of another person can be averted. There is no scape from one's own!! In other words the government can avert the unfair criticism of the opposition if and when that happens, but what about their own evil actions?! What about if they are hurting our Mother-S/L inadvertently, consciously or unconsciously. That is when betrayal was committed at the top as mentioned above, and that happened, and the curse that emanates from this will haunt Somaliland for a long time! It is a serious matter if you believe how serious is betrayal. deny or no deny it is there! Allah is all seeing, all hearing and all knowing.

The head of this government has sinned! a) He betrayed his base b) he betrayed his party.c) He abandoned those who voted for him!d) He embraced others who did not vote for him. He departed us, but we will not depart him for the sake of the Mother! that is a nobility from our side and may Allah forgive, but first we have to forgive!
To put to rest this evil act, the perpetrator has to confess before Allah first, then before the affected people. If that does not happen sooner the anger of the betrayed people and the curse of Allah will affect the sinner and the government by extension as well, and that will be deadly, and that is what we don't want! ( you may laugh all you want, but it is a serious matter!)

When some one needs a great deal of advice from unproven new "Johny came late" crowd he is vulnerable to deadly mistakes and the proof of this is the sequence of events which took place in Somaliland in a short span of time which all ended in disgrace.
Most people are frequently attention deprived and ungrateful. They forget what was done for them and for the sake of them. They tend to betray, and that happened! This is one reason among other reasons why new friends who did not deliver the (vote) product needed, for instance were preferred to those veterans who delivered!!! This is precisely the case of betrayal Mr, Siilanyo has committed!!

Evil has no real existence argued by some Sufs." It is not being, which is the privation and absence of being" bad people and bad governments exist because of the absence of good people and good governments! Just as a darkness is the absence of light!
Sins and betrayal better be corrected otherwise Somaliland will be buried by them! And that is what we do not want at all. It is in some ones hands! On my part let us do it for the Mother. let us confess the sin-betrayal, then forgive, then "goos" for the Mother. That is my last word.w
