Jamaal bombshell lie about the money he paid to take over UDUB

Jamaal Hussein wants us to believe that he did not pay any money in his attempt to take over UDUB last May. It is the laughable claim he is promoting in a new interview with Somaliland Nati onal TV aired last night. It is sad that Jamaal think so little of the Somaliland people, that they are so naive and gullible they will fall for this bold and naked lie. It is also sad that Jamaal did not consult with his front man Cali Gurey who led the genie out the bottle last May and reveal ed the the price tag : 75000. Jamaal in a interview while in Dubai back in May did not dispute this 75000 figure, saying he did invest this money because he believes in UDUB and that he is simply putting his money where his mouth is.

We can understand where Jamaal is going with this. He wants to persuade UCID that she is the love of his life and wants therefore to hide his previous courtship with UDUB. But in this Intern et day and age, the UCID presidential candidate cannot lie about what he said mere months ago.

Jamaal political career has begun with a bad judgment call when instead of forming his own pol itical association, he tried to buy out UDUB. His subsequent defection to UCID led the Somalila nd electorate to frame Jamaal as a political opportunist willing to buy his way to the presidenti al palace. Somaliland citizens take great pride in being the only really democratic nation in the region and they are frowning about the impact of Jamaal constant leapfrogging from party to party on Somaliland democracy.

Now by shamessly lying about the money he paid UDUB, Jamaal is adding another layer in an al ready tainted political reputation. He comes across as someone who is ready to do anything and say anything to get elected. I was left atone at Jamaal answer when asked why he switch ed to UCID : he responded that he already left his banker job and needed to proceed ahead wi th his presidential ambitions. Simple as that : Jamaal has left his job and wants to be president whatever the party he runs for. And UCID was the only one offering this opportunity . Now Ja maal is heaping countless praise on UCID and Faysal, but back then he did have anything princi pled to say about him going over to UCID. Contesting the next election under the UCID banner was the only opportunity left available, and Jamaal did not bother to provide any principled ra tionale to joining forces with UCID
