President Siilanyo and the people are in distance apart

A leader has to lead, but to do that he must have followers first. I believe our leader has no followers. I believe there is a distance between him and the real people; instead he created cabals and clan traders who can sell their conscience for money.
I also believe that he undermined the other three institutions, the parliament, the Guurti and the judiciary branches and made them departments serving for the executive branch! It also seems that the executive branch transformed it self to an oligarchy entity with no feeling for what thousands martyred for and a million Somalilanders lost their possessions and properties; that is Somaliland dignity, sovereignty and independence which were in the market lately! That is respecting and safeguarding the constitution, the freedom of thought and expression and the development of democracy and justice which the closest aids to Mr. Siilanyo are not respecting at all, as widely seen. That is safeguarding the stability and peace of Somaliland as well as the region. All rests on honesty, justice and sound leadership. Most of these if not all of these are absent in Somaliland these days, but the good news is that all these can be restored if the president honestly does what it takes to realize them, and that is rebuilding the house of Somaliland which has been damaged already

I think Mr. Siilanyo and crowd have to understand and confess that they terribly failed in governing and in approaching problems faced the nation so they have to change and not defend their wrongs. They better stop living in denial and demagoguery.
Let the President and his crowd be Godly once and be courageous enough to confess the wrongs they have done and take that as a teachable moment and change their failed policies and the drivers of that failed policies. Let them be honest to god,to the cause and the case of Somaliland, then move forward if Allah wishes that.
It is collectively our call as concerned Somalilanders to seriously call the attention of Mr. Siilanyo and his oligarchy administration to stop destroying the country thousands died for it and hundreds of thousands lost their property and treasure, for it.

Dishonesty:
The truth that dishonesty brings however is never about the lies, big or small! It is not about misappropriation, ill intentions, cover-ups etc… it is always about the person choosing to be dishonest or born as such! The plain truth is that a dishonest person is not trustworthy. Thus, dishonesty kills trust and once trust is done, leadership suffers, and so the society under that leadership goes with it unceremoniously, unless it is stopped on its track!
Trust is a leader’s most prized possession:
It is a foundational cornerstone to leadership. It is trust that allows a leader to ask people to follow him toward new ideas and concepts. It is trust that allows that leader to ask people to stick with him during hard, uncertain, uncomfortable, or changing times. It is trust that allows him to break bad news and have it received without a devastating impact on the entire government or establishment. Simply put, honesty and trust must be there, and that is very often hard to do in some administrations!
It is my conviction that trust is achieved - through honesty. Any break in honesty begins to shape at the trust granted the leader by those he leads. Thus trust is achieved through honesty! And there is no trust in Siilanyo administration! The good news is that he can change that if so he wants or is lead by higher power.
Even if some one is honest, the appearance of Dishonesty is Deadly
Perception is Reality! Too often (some) leaders lose sight that perception is very much indeed reality. The appearance of dishonesty is just as deadly as dishonesty. Leaders must make every effort to avoid the appearance of dishonesty. One must work to maintain his honesty and safeguard the trust of those he leads.

Conclusion:
Let me remind those who were not there and don’t appreciate how much blood has been spelt for this country. How much tears were shed and how much treasure was spent for the cause. Those who were not there and don’t appreciate how much we paid for Somaliland cause are the very ones Mr. Siilanyo chose for Somaliland to run its affairs let me remind those brothers that: Alone we fought. Alone we suffered. Alone we buried our dead and alone we triumphed over the oppression of the genocidal regime of Siyad Barre. Where were (body else) they then?

Together we suffered. Together we survived. Together we fought back and together we triumphed. Together we recalled back our lost Republic and together we established a democratic government. Together we persevered, and together we can prevail.
Ironically it seems that together we are dismantling what we have built and the government is leading in this demonic effort! No More self renewal for the dishonest and failed houses
Let us come back to our sense and be kind to the future of our younger generations.
Inallaha laa yathlimu alnaasa shayan walaakin alnaasa anfusahum yathlimon
Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: it is man that wrongs his own soul”
