While I was watching of one Somaliland websites, I become aware a military style a song p roduced by the famous female singer Nimco Degan and decided to listen in the singers’ late st song upon listening the same, the song drive me out and situation influenced me writing this article about the same. We all need motivation to achieve our goals and to lead a happ y and peaceful life and listening to music can be one of the best methods to get motivation and to boost our self-confidence. It is true that habitually we listens songs that inspires like the songs from Khadra Dahir or any other Somali singer to entertain our selves, but it is exceptionally rare in society producing songs on the honour of our army forces. Some So ngs are considered inspirational songs that re-energize us and the song currently produce d by Nimco is a typical model, as this song instantly touched me as I see war from a soldie r's perspective after fighting a heroic battle. This army song is the logo of the army as well as the symbol of the honour, bravery and goal of the soldier.

This song has a direct impact on brain because our ear, which is a sense organ, is sending the voice to brain and brain is not only storing it in mind, but also forming the images. This song will act as a motivational factor to our army forces, as it purely military song with be st breathtaking exceptional music that touches our emotions. Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent. Music is our refuge when are alone. Where words fail, music speaks. In the event anyone wants to hear saluting the military patriotic song, this song is the one. Usually military Patriotic Songs are composed by the most influential artists, and these patriotic tunes are among their most enduring. There are occasions that we cannot in words what we feel emotionally and this the real situation. This song feels us like being a travelling to see our army forces and hear about what’s happening in their lives and their respective places. This is inspiration for all song. This song leaves us feeling inspired and optimistic for our army forces. During the war time, music was a prominent feature on the home fronts and the battlefields. Popular music, therefore, saturated the citizenry and reached into all of its corners, forming a great medi um for conveying messages.

Making out this capability, governments often used it as an effective means for inspiring en thusiasm, pride, patriotism, and action in the citizens in order to gain manpower, homeland support, and funds. Composers and publishers readily cooperated and adopted these new musical image with which to earn money from a large population rallied by war and eager to respond to the sentiments by purchasing the pro-war music. Besides these incentives, composers and publishers often wrote music to promote their personal wartime sentimen ts. During wars, music was often used to inspire passion and voluntary compliance in the listeners and, occasionally, shame in those who didn't support the war. Much of the music distributed during wars greatly influenced social and political attitudes, thereby serving as an effective propaganda tool for private citizens and governments. Based on these definit ions, music is a highly effectual propaganda vehicle. Politicians use musical display at public rallies to build the momentum of the crowd and generate an emotional response in support of their causes, as is seen in political campaign. Music helps achieve the goals of the propagandist.

Music floods to the spirit in ways that written words alone cannot do. This is mainly evident in advertising and political campaigns when listeners go through their daily routines humm ing and singing attractive piece of music that incorporate the praises of products and candi dates. Propaganda is not always lies as even truths and facts can be considered propaga nda in the event we intend to use for the purpose of promoting a cause. War songs played as motivation to patriotism, as people of every nationality are moved to speech or to song by that which permeates the thoughts or appeals to the emotions in times of political excit ement. Love of country, together with a pride in its institutions and the army forces. The veterans of our military services have put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms that we enjoy. They have dedicated their lives to their country and deserve to be recogniz ed for their commitment. We sleep peaceably in our beds at night only because, our army forces stand ready to do protect and defend on our behalf.

The whole motivation of Nimco song is, love of our country, love our army forces, pride for our army forces and seeking protection from our great Creator with regard to our army fo rces, we die for the legitimate cause of Somaliland and our army forces scarifies their lives to defend us. Some of the most obvious types of musical propaganda are found in patriotic songs, national and military music. Nimco song is considered served the message of musical nationalism and the sense of nationalism. Nimco produced this patriotic song on the honour of army forces on the occasion of marking Somaliland 24th anniversary of independence which is 18th of May every year designated celebrating as honour of nationhood. Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty and best road to progress is freedom’s road. We have the utmost gratitude for all those who provided us freedom in this country, and we sincerely thank them for their bravery act which is the sources of our independen ce. In short, Nimco Degan latest song is the best benchmark of all patriotic and nationalist songs in view of its unique mode that exceedingly influence our emotions and make us feel the sense of patriotism.
