“Who say, when afflicted with calamity, ‘to Allah we belong; and to Him is our return’ they are those on whom descend blessing for their Lord and mercy and they are the ones that receive guidance.” So Allah we say,” to you we belong and to you is our return” [Inaa lilaahi WA inaa ilayhi raagicoon xasbiyalaahu WA nicmal wakeel]

On another verse Allah said, “On earth will be your dwelling place and means of livelihood for a time
There shall ye live, and there in shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out- at last.”
It was that process in which Brother Ibrahim Maigag completed it to day

We who knew the late Mujahed are mourning more than others.
Somaliland is mourning, but alas! The Mujahideen before him were in line welcoming Mujahed Ibrahim in “Daral aakhira,” beside their Allah, in heaven.

Allah is the Greatest and we are his servants
Ibrahim was Somaliland's greatest and cleanest
He was Somaliland's hope for honesty and real leadership
Somaliland lost him and may Allah compensate for Somaliland
May Allah the owner of all, the merciful bestow his mercy on his soul

Ibrahim Maigag’s Virtues and character:

Ibrahim was an honest man
Honesty is of course not easy: because real honesty is exercised with out difficulty when it is the ma nifestation of an inner reality.
He was insightful and visionary, a rare commodities these days in our country!

A Muslim scholar from ‘Balkh’ now called Afghanistan, visited the city of Baghdad in Iraq during the Abbasids. He was said of him: “you are not an Arabic speaking person yet you are a man of halting speech! You silenced every one, how is that!?” he was asked.
The Muslim scholar said, because of three things:

1- I am happy when he is right
2- I am sad when he is wrong
3- I try not to behave foolishly to words (contender) him

Brother Ibrahim Maigag had that kind of character and vision
He was a man of halting speech and of visionary.

Imam ibn Hanbal asked a scholar by the name of Hatim- what things would save humanity from the world. Hatim said, four things:

a- Accept the ignorance of others
b- Spare them yours
c- Spare for them from your substance
D- Do not expect any of theirs.

Brother Ibrahim Maigag had that wisdom.
He never wanted a return to what he did Somaliland in its biter and bad days during the struggle for liberation. May Allah bestow his mercy on his soul?

Allah said to his servants: “and the servants of Allah most gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility and when the ignorant [in a moral sense] addresses [in an aggressive sense] them they say, peace”.

Brother Ibrahim Maigag was a man of humility and of patience.
He never argued with the foolish and the selfish. May Allah’s mercy be on his soul?

Allah said, “Who restrain anger and pardon all men, for Allah loves those who do good”
Mujahed Ibrahim Maigag was a man who restrain anger and when wronged he used to pardon them. That is a rare character these days. It is a blessing only few people have. May Allah bestow his merc y on his soul

The family Late Mujahed Ibrahim Maigag Samater left:

Amina Cadhooli- his beloved wife

Ragi Ibrahim- his son

Shoukri Ibrahim- his daughter

Loul Ibrahim- his daughter
And the larger Maigag Samater family

To the Righteous soul will be said: “O thou soul in complete rest and satisfaction.” The righteous enter in to their inheritance and receive their welcome with a title that suggests freedom from all pain, sor row, doubt, struggle, disappointment, passion and even further desire: at rest, in peace, in a state of complete satisfaction.” Good by Brother. Good by Mujahed. Be you Rest in peace and satisfaction  be side Allah, and with the Mujahedeen before you.
